Comprehensive Dentistry for You and Your Family

Individual Consultations & Exams

At Freedom Dental Care, we believe every visit should include quality one-on-one time with our dentists. We take the time to get to know you, your dental concerns, and your dental goals. At your bi-annual teeth cleaning appointment, our dental hygienist will clean your teeth and gums to keep them looking and feeling their best. After your cleaning, our dentists will perform a thorough examination of your teeth and gums. They will check your current restorations, examine your X-rays, and discuss any and all treatment options. Our dentists always takes great care of their patients.

Digital Xrays

Digital X-rays are a fast and comfortable tool we use to assess your dental needs. Digital X-rays give us precise images so that we can protect your dental and overall health. Some studies show that digital X-rays emit up to 90% less radiation then conventional X-rays. They are even safe enough to be used during pregnancy!
The standard size of traditional X-rays can make viewing difficult, but digital radiography has done away with the "one size fits all" mentality. Once on the screen, our dentists can enlarge or magnify the digital X-rays for a better visual of your tooth's structure. They can also adjust the brightness, contrast, and color allowing them to see small cavities easier.

Intraoral Camera

Intraoral cameras take digital photographs of your mouth. These images are a useful diagnostic and patient education tool and allow dentists to visualize and diagnose dental issues she may not have been able to see without the use of the intraoral camera.

Dental Sealants

A dental sealant is a thin plastic film that is applied to the chewing surface of your molars to prevent food particles and bacteria from reaching the depressions and grooves of your teeth. Dental sealants are effective at preventing cavities from forming in the molar teeth. Although sealants are often recommended for children, adults can benefit from dental sealants too!

Fluoride Treatments

Fluoride helps strengthen your teeth and helps prevent the development of cavities. Although most public water systems and toothpastes contain fluoride, our dentists may recommend additional fluoride treatments if she thinks you are at risk for cavity development.

Oral Cancer Screenings

Regular check-ups, including an examination of the entire mouth, are essential in the early detection of cancerous and pre-cancerous conditions. Our dentists have the skills and tools to ensure that signs of cancerous and precancerous conditions are identified early.
